Recommended Business Resources

These are all the people, tools and businesses that I recommend when it comes to the techy stuff in your creative businesses.

Some of these links are affiliate links, which means if you decide to sign up for a service, I may get a small commission. I only recommend businesses services that I have used myself in my own business or for a client.

I hope you find this helpful. I will add more to this as I discover new great tools and services.

Social Media Tools:

I have been using Social Pilot pretty much since they began and it has been my absolute favourite tool to run all of my social media accounts from. It has been especially helpful with #bigartboost so I can really keep on top of the community.

I also recommend Hootsuite as a second choice to Social Pilot.

I love testing out new tools and I am currently exploring Sociamonials so, watch this space for an update on how it’s going.

WordPress Themes:

This website runs on the Divi Theme by Elegant Themes and it is the only one I recommend. It is solid, always has new features, runs seamlessly and is highly customisable.

Freelancer Tools:

Copywriters:

I will add my recommendations here soon – Watch this space!

Website Hosting Services:

I have previously used Bluehost and InMotion Hosting which are both based in USA and were both great.

As I am based in the UK, I wanted to move to a UK based company so I chose to move to Guru Cloud Hosting which has been absolutely brilliant. – I’m very happy with my decision to move. If you are in the UK, I highly recommend them.

Email Marketing Tools:

I’ve tried so many email marketing tools and finally settled on ConvertKit a few years ago. Ontraport is also another email marketing tool that I love. If you are just getting started with email marketing I highly recommend MailChimp.

Project Management Tools:

Asana – Honestly, my favourite but I am always tinkering around with other new apps that I discover. Trello is a great too.

File Storage Tools:

I use both Dropbox and OneDrive to house all of my files.
